We have 2 older cats that happily hide away upstairs most of the time, but do enjoy cuddles when it suits them. Our pomapoo puppy is 18 months old, and demands a lot more attention. As a Covid baby, he is not used to being left home alone for more than 2 hours. He is a cute little ball of energy. He enjoys long walks and long naps. Other than feeding the cats and walking/feeding/playing with Monty, we don't require much else...just watering the garden if the weather is hot.

We live in a large double story attached house, with a small front garden and a lovely sunny courtyard. The downstairs area is open plan, with a large kitchen area and big doors opening to the courtyard area. The neighbourhood is quiet, but supermarkets, public transport, restaurants and other facilities are within a 5 minute walk. The beautiful town of Leiden is 15 minutes away by bus.

We have lots of lovely places to walk nearby. There are plenty of parks, walk/cycle paths, and a large canal. A 10 minute walk will take you out to farmlands. Leiden is a 20/30 minute walk, 10 minute bike ride, or 15 minutes in the bus away. It is one of the most beautiful towns/cities in The Netherlands. The Hague is 20 minutes by train from Leiden, the airport is 30 minutes, and Amsterdam is 40 minutes.
