Besoin et animaux

We have a lively and lovely household with our two fantastic dogs (Max and King) , gerbil Richard, 3 goldfish, and our latest addition is a ginger cat named Roland. Out side in the garden our chickens and guinnea fowl are roaming around and two guinea pigs, rabbit, We would like to have an individual, couple or family take care of them while we are away and keep an eye on the house at the same time. The fish, birds and rodents need daily feeding and perhaps a cleaning of their space. And of course the eggs are yours. The dogs and cat need more attention and love, we have a very friendly, social and very active Border Collie named King (9 years old), who loves to play all day long and will keep you busy throwing balls, sticks or even rocks. Our second dog, an adopted Griffon Nivernois Max is 8 years old and the guardian of the house and garden with a loud voice and opion. He is superfriendly to all people and just loves to cuddle and lounge around, but at the same time he is a strong stubborn hunting dog so needs a firm hand during …

The dogs need one walk in the morning (access to a forest trail is closeby). For the rest of the day the dogs roam in the garden or inside. They can perfectly be alone for 5-6 hours.

Lovely villa with a huge fenced garden (5000 sqm landscaped and partly forested), main villa has the entire upper floor available for guests, and there is a seperate studio (all guest rooms have private bathroom). The house has lots of outdoor terrace, seating and dining areas space and there is a lovely pool. We have a jacuzzi availabe in winter. The house is only steps away from the small village of Le Rouret with restaurants and supermarket.

We have got lots of English and Dutch books available, outdoors kitchen and BBQ , the pool for summer and jacuzzi. Satelite TV, netflix. Nice living room with a large fireplace.

We have a relaxed french-country lifestyle. We are privilged to live perfectly in between the sea and the mountains. Because of the size of our garden it feels we live somewhat remote but we have friendly neighbours and the lovely village on our doorstep. We live most of our days outdoors, even in winter when the sun is just lovely, and the house is just perfect for that. We would recommend having a car available.

Tourisme et loisirs

So much to do and to explore ! Popular villages (Valbonne, St. Paul de Vence) with plenty of shopping and restaurants are a short drive away. The mediterranean with beaches and the glitz of the cote d'azur (Cannes, Antibes) are closeby. Larger cities such as Nice and Monaco are within one hour drive, and even a visit to Italy is possible. If hiking and the outdoors is your thing, the mountains are right there with plenty of marked trails for all levels. Larger shopping malls also closeby.

Petit séjour avec les 2 chiens King et Max pour de grandes balades et de grosses caresses 😍, 1 tout jeune chat à notre passage Roland plein de vie et de bêtises 😉 mais tellement attachant 😘. Sans oublier la basse cours, les rongeurs et les poissons qui nous ont fait passer un bon séjour dans une agréable maison. Merci à Wessel pour son sympathique accueil et ses explications et merci à vous deux à nous avoir fait confiance.

What an amazing time we had at Michael and Wessel's house! We were welcomed very warmly by Wessel, who really took the time to connect with us and show us the house and the pets, even though he had to prepare for his business trip. Their wonderful dogs, Max and King, showed us nothing but affection from the beginning. All the animals are easy to take care of, and we honestly enjoyed our little morning routine of walking the dogs, feeding the pets, and collecting eggs from the hens. It felt like being on a farm, yet it's only half an hour from beautiful cities like Nice and Cannes—truly the best of both worlds! If we had any questions, they were answered very quickly. They were even so kind as to lend us their car, which really made our time there so much easier. We loved every moment. Thank you both so much, and we can't wait to be back again!

Michael et Wessel nous ont accueilli autours d'un super bon repas, avec simplicité et sympathie. La maison est magnifique et tellement agréable, verdoyant et reposant. Les chiens Max et King sont vraiment attachants, et agréable a vivre. Nous avons fait de très belle balade; La maison est un petit havre de paix, notre fille Nelya a adoré s'occuper des poules, lapins ... . Sublime région non loin de Nice, Cannes et Ventimille. Merci encore nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir si l'occasion ce présente !!!!!
