My wife Rose and I are a youngish retired English couple who travel a lot, we have a home in Surrey and and a house in the Dordogne South West France.
Before retiring, I ran my own I.T. Project Planning company for 20 years, and Rose spent a lifetime in the NHS as a Senior Nursing Manager.
In our time we’ve have owned Dogs, Cats, Swans, Gerbils, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Fish, Tortoises, a Pony, and strangely a Mongoose.
We recently lost our 21 year old cat Tabby, she lost a leg to a tumour when she was 14, she used to come to France in the summer and came with us on 2 of our of ski tours and we loved her to the day she passed away last year, we miss her every day.
