Our cat's used to being out most of the day, so all you really need to do is let him in and out of the house as fancy takes him and feed him occasionally. If he's too picky to eat what we offer, he'll probably find something better elsewhere. He does still come 'home', though, and we'd like to encourage that ;)
He is generally very trusting and sweet, doesn't bite or scratch and, all in all, is very good company!
Otherwise, the garden needs a little tending (mostly watering and harvesting), and there are a few houseplants that need watering.

Our dates aren't fixed yet, our vacation is alittle open end. It would be great if you could come one day in advance so that we can show you around and so that our cat can get used to you.

Our little house needs a sitter while we're away to see the world!
We're situated in beautiful rural Bavaria, and are proud owners of a lovely, lush garden. We have one cat, who is easy to handle and quite independent but we'd feel a lot more comfortable knowing that he has a home to return to while we're gone. The garden, too, needs a little tending in summer and autumn (mainly watering and harvesting). In return, there are apples, plums, raspberries, peaches, blueberries, potatoes, beans, cabbages and much more to harvest while we're not here!
The house is old (ca. 140 years!) but well loved and lived in, cozy and perfect for a single sitter or a couple. You'd have free reign of all facilities (kitchen, bathroom, living-room, TV, washing machine etc.) and can sleep in the comfortable guest room / library.
You may need a car to get around, since we live a little way from the next supermarket. If you do have one, lucky you! It's only about 30 min. to the Alps (you can see them from our garden!) and less than 1 hour to Munich. Wasserburg is well worth a trip, too, since it's a beautiful old town …

Our guest room doubles as a library. It opens to the balcony and is, obviously, full of books, quite a few of them in English! It also contains a HiFi / Record Player and a Smart-TV.
You have free rein of the house's facilities, including a fully furnished kitchen and washing machine.
The highlight is the lush garden with several sitting areas.

We live in a lovely green patch of rural Bavaria. There is a (poorly serviced) train station in walking distance, but a car is recommendent to get to the next market and sights. The Alps are only 30 min. away (you can see them from our house!) and Munich can be reached in under 1 hour. There is also lots to do around if you like cycling, walking etc.

The house is situated in a rural part of southern Bavaria. The Alps (mountaneering, hiking, paragliding etc.) are only about 30 min. away. Munich with all its sights and culture can be reached in under 1 hour. There are also several lovely little towns around that are well worth a visit (Burghausen, Wasserburg am Inn)

Corinna and her mum are very hospitable. The cat is an outdoor cat, but showed upf every now and then for food and some cuddles. The house is comfortable equipped with everything you need, and has a lovely garden. Munich is nearby for a day tour, and Wasserburg is, a gorgeous village. We loved spending some time in Bavaria, and would really recommend this housesit.
