Pet-sitting | Many plants | 2 Cats

⭐ Preferred profile: Single person, who works remotely at home, so cats spend the least time on their own. Optionally a couple. No kids, sorry :( cats are not used to them and house is not kid-proof. 🌐 Preferred language of communication is Spanish or English. This is important since I need to ensure we will have a fluid communication. --- 🐈 🐈‍⬛I have two adult cats, Otis and Osho (both 13 years). They're bit shy in the beginning but if you feed and play with them Otis will start accepting you by rubbing his face on your feet, and Osho will hop over you to get some love. They're playful though not as a kitten. If they are confident with you, you may see them run all over the place and chase each other. I call this the "savannha time" Because of their age, Osho sometimes pees in non-desired places if sandbox is not properly clean (mostly in dustpan) and Otis sometimes vomits, but nothing that happens usually if you take care of them properly (cleaning sandbox an giving both of them cat malt) Here is their instagram in case you want to see them "live" 📷 https://www.instagram.com/bam.ba.boo.cats/ --- 🪴 I also have some indoor plants …

🏢 Minimalist cozy home in a tranquil neighborhood, within 30' walk to the city center. Flat has one main bedroom and two bathroom (one with shower the other with a bath), complete kitchen and a big living room with a remote working nook. Plenty of services within walking distance (supermarkets, pharmacy, green areas, mountain, ...) and very well connected by bus (5'), train (1') and metro (10').

I mainly work from home, which it's equipped for that; good internet connection and a sit/standup desk if you want to work here. I don't use a conventional chair, but a high puff. There's another room with access to a small balcony where there's another table if you want to use it. Don't use much TV but chromecast is available (you're gonna need to configure it!) Got some books in English and Spanish, and some boardgames too. No smoking in the house.

There's a little balcony with nice views. Cats are used to being there unsupervised, but please watch them because I'm not sure how they'll react with new people around. Free parking spot may be available depending on the occasion. Otherwise some pay-parkings are available nearby though not cheap.

Bilbao is very close to the beach (30' by metro), or mountain (can step of of home and just go upwards, you will reach Pagasarri mountain). Plenty of options by car/public transport to visit the North of Spain area (Donosti, Santander, Burgos, Logroño, ...)

I had a great, really peaceful time staying together with Otis and Osho. The cats were super easy to be around, very sweet yet with completely different personalities. Iru left me lots of useful guidelines and tips to manage the situation while she was away. We were in touch during the whole housesitting whenever there was need. Loved staying at Irus flat and taking care of Osho and Otis! We met up one day before I started my sit and immediately had a good connection and shared some laughs. Iru left me a tidy flat with some food I could use if wanted and overall was nice to communicate with during my 2 week long sit. Anytime I had questions about the cats, the flat or Bilbao, she answered quickly and gave nice recommendations. Thanks a lot again! 10/10, would do again :)
