Angie is a very sweet 10 year old chocolate Lab rescue. She needs to be walked in the morning and after she eats dinner. Her walks are her only real exercise since she has recently had to stop hiking. Her hips are too achy these days. She does get an anti-inflammatory tablet once daily. Angie has a doggie door that allows her to hang out outside and pee between walks. She has the run of the house and plants herself on rugs, sofas, and beds for a snooze. She has a big repertoire of tricks and games to keep her stimulated. We have an automatic feeder for her kibble so she will eat breakfast without waking us. She gets a can of food at about 4:30 PM. We think that she can actually tell time!
Angie doesn’t mind taking bi-weekly hose showers In the yard. Getting towel-dried is one of her favorite things in the world.
I try to keep houseplants that don’t require a lot of care. They are generally watered once a week. I have a collection of potted agaves in the backyard. They are very forgiving, but require a good soaking with the hose weekly. Almost all of the …

I try to keep houseplants that don’t require a lot of care. They are generally watered once a week. I have a collection of potted agaves in the backyard. They are very forgiving, but require a good soaking with the hose weekly. Almost all of the landscaping is on a drip system, so no watering is necessary.
The pool and outdoor lighting are on autopilot We have pool and landscape services that come weekly.
The house has been renovated recently. It is very important to me that it is kept clean and tidy in the 3 weeks between when the housekeeper does a thorough cleaning.
Our newly renovated home is in a safe, gated community located in the Camelback resort corridor of Phoenix. It is adjacent to the hiking trails of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, and has beautiful views of the city and Camelback Mountain. The pool is a refreshing treat after a morning hike and a stop at the local Starbucks. Restaurants and a yoga studio are within walking distance. The community has lighted tennis courts and a walking trail leading to a resort (public) golf course.

We have smart TV’s with many premium apps along with cable TV with all possible channels (including music) and DVR’s. There is WiFi in every room and outdoors. It’s great to get up early to watch the amazing sunrise over Camelback Mountain, then take your coffee and laptop to the back patio to read the paper before walking Angie.
