Hi, I am Eelkje living in Amsterdam with my 2 cats. I work as a recruiter for ING, Netherlands biggest bank, and basically I work for my holidays! :)
I love to travel and I love animals, besides this I love to cook (although my kitchen is quite small), hang out with my friends and enjoying the good live.
I have lots of experience with cats, we always had them. I also have experience with disabled cats. My previous cat was deaf and one of my current cats has only 3,5 legs. We also used to have a dog when I was younger, a Dalmatian, which I adored.
I previously only used this platform to find house sitters during my holidays, but recently I decided to pet/house sit myself as I can work remotely. All I need is a good internet connection.

Eelkje is a very nice and trustful person. I stayed at her place for 3 weeks and I had a wonderful time with the cats and in the city. Her cats are the sweetest and her apartment is very comfy, I really felt like home. Eelkje let me borrow her bicycle so moving in the very center of Amsterdam was so easy ! Anything you could ever need you can find it in the neighborhood. I would definetely recommend, thank you Eelkje for your kindness :)

I didnt meet Eelkje in person but I spent a nice time in her flat with her cats. The location is great and I enjoyed my stay very much though it rained for 3 days . Eelkje was in contact with me via whatsapp and we exchanged pictures.

Eelkje is a nice person who loves her cats and all animals. She is a friendly person and the cats are too ! They defnitly like to cuddle and you will never feel Alone home. I really had a great time with noortje and jip. I would be very very happy to see them again. The place is really nice in center of amsterdam... everything is a step away !
