Robyn and david

This sit was special in many ways. First, we stepped in to take over form other sitters, so we met Robyn and Dave only on the end of the job. We had to relay on the detailed instructions about feeding, medication and the house they send us. That has given us a very good orientation to work with. They assisted us with all rising questions quickly and clear, also over Skype. This is not a sit for every one, loving animals is a premise, one needs to bring patience and enough free time to look after them the best way. Being a couple we needed about 3 hours daily each for the basic and additional time for cuddles. Let us go into details: Molly is on medication one need to be confident to administer pills, that can be challenging as she doesn`t like them. She is easy to walk ,due her age she has weak back legs, and shows you when she want´s to go back by sitting down. Apple has colon cancer, needs pills, and gets a special diet. Due her medication she is hungry all day long, one need to take special care while walking her, as she snaps for everything eatable! Also she has the need to poo frequently, retaining is not good for her. Due her condition she is bleeding on the procedure, after one need to be confident cleaning her. George is very special, thunderstorms and fire crackers scare him crazily, also at home. During this moments he needs a lot of attention. He is also easily scared on the daily walks by big trucks, dark people, bicycles, umbrellas... One needs to win his confidence, then longer walks are doable. He also likes to play in the house. Then there is Happy, a street dog, Robin and Dave wanted us to visit and feed once a day. The six cats are easy to handle but also need to get cuddles. If you are looking for a holiday that´s the wrong sit. The house is in a good condition, with all the comfort that makes life enjoyable. Due in the middle of Chinatown it is calm inside. The savvy construction of the heritage house allows a constant air flow that produces a fresh breeze all day long. The perfect location brings everything one need just a stone throw away. During our stay a cleaning lady came twice a week. About George Town, along enjoying the cosmopolitan flare of this colonial town one can do many things here, but that you can find out by your self... Finally we had the pleasure to meet Robyn and Dave in person, they are as lovely and kind as their pets, we look forward to sit for them again. Andreas and
