We are Jonas & Anna,
Originally from Germany and Russia, after having lived in Dubai for 14 years (where we also met), we recently got married, quit our jobs, sold everything and traveled around the world for a year. Over our lifetime, we have been to 70 countries and studied, worked and lived in 7. Together, we speak 6 languages (German, Russian, English, Spanish, French and Latin). Anna graduated as teacher for Russian language, and worked as sales manager at Dubai airport. Jonas has an MBA and worked for 20 years in M&A and as investment manager in private equity.
We have discovered for us the concept and benefits of minimalism (including not owning a car), and travel light.
We have lived in and looked after an old house in Germany for 4 months last year (they had never seen it as clean as when we left!), we have cared for 2 cats, ducks and chickens, turtles and plants (e.g. harvesting a garden full of fruit trees and lawn-mowing). We lived in a house with a cat in Mexico for one month and made friends with the neighbors. We are now living in Germany and had housesits in France, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, Sweden and Italy. We sat various dogs (American Staffordshire Terrier, Weimaraner, Retriever, Labrador, Huskies, Japanese Spitz, Dachshund ‚sausage dog‘, German Shepard), all with their different personalities. We also had Bengal, Persian, Japanese bobtail, and many other cats.

Anna and Jonas are two lovely and very reliable persons. They spent a month in my house and everything was perfect about the house sitting with them. They took amazing care of my cat, sending regular pictures and updates and treating her with much attention and love. The plants were also very healthy and everything in the house was very clean and pretty. Honestly, I had never seen my house so clean ! The contact was easy and warm and I really felt safe and understood with tem. Thank you again, Anna dand Jonas, for this experience. I highly recommend these amazing house-sitters =)
Très belle rencontre ! Couple super ! Nous recommandons +++++!!!!!! Anna et Jonas ont très bien pris soin de notre chien et de notre maison... Ils ont même nettoyé ma voiture !! Une vraie fée du logis ! Nous aimerions qu'à notre prochain départ... Ils soient à nouveau disponibles ! 😅... Anna nous avait même préparé une spécialité de son pays pour notre retour... Adorable !
