We are Dolo (34 yo) and Joaquín (39 yo) from Córdoba, Argentina. We are animal&nature-lovers, vegans, artists, and explorers of the world. Also responsible, tidy, and clean house-sitters.
We have been traveling Europe since May 2019 with an amazing cat called Nuez who also crossed the Ocean with us. We started this travel in France doing housesitting for a year. Then we continued doing so in Belgium, Holland, Hungary, and Italy. At the moment we live in southern Sweden. Living in different houses with animals is the best way of traveling and feel at home at the same time. I love to live in different places, I get to dive into different parts of myself in every place I am.
I'm exploring different artistic expressions: ceramics, cyanotypes, linocuts, and even drawing with a typewriter! When I lived in my city, Córdoba, I worked together with Joaquin as independent cultural-events producers; we produced mainly film festivals (one of them is the 48 Hour Film Project, the biggest short-film competition worldwide) and also theatre plays and music shows. We studied Language & Literature and taught Spanish as a foreign language. We are always searching for new experiences and ways of living.

C'était pour nous la première fois qu'on laissait notre appartement et nos animaux à des inconnus, mais Dolores et Joaquin ne nous l'ont pas du tout fait regretter ! Au contraire ! Ils ont passé presque tout leur temps à la maison jouer avec nos chats, qui ont bien apprécié leur compagnie et leurs câlins. Attentifs à l'appartement aussi, on l'a retrouvé propre et bien rangé. Un souci avec un chat étant survenu (il était disparu), Joaquin a été très investi dans les recherches, qui ont abouti à une heureuse solution. On les conseille vivement, et on espère qu'ils reviendront chez nous à la prochaine occasion ! Merci !

Cette année nous avons confié notre maison, notre jardin et notre chat Percy à Dolores et Joaquin. Ce fut une rencontre extraordinaire. Originaires d’Argentine, ils sont su répondre à nos attentes. Calmes, gentils, attentionnés envers notre chat, soucieux de bien faire face aux travaux de jardinage. Nous avons retrouvé une maison parfaitement rangée, un jardin soigné et arrosé, et un chat heureux. Dolores parle très bien français. Nous avons beaucoup échangé lors de leur arrivée. Ce qui nous a permis de partir confiants et rassurés en vacances. Au delà du homestting, il y a eu la très belle et gentille attention pour notre fils Paul ; un petit livre rien que pour lui et fait main durant le séjour. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander Dolores et Joaquin. Ce sont des homesitters en or. Merci!
