We are a retired couple and have lived in the same village in France since the beginning of 2004. Our interests are all quiet ones such as gardening growing vegetables. seeing our friends, and generally enjoying life in rural France. We do like to visit other places and are interested in culture and history. We have both been granted French Citizenship and thus have been thoroughly scrutinised and checked out by the French State and the French police as part of that long process. Our ethos is to look after the security of your home and your pets as we would wish our own to be looked after.
Retirement allows us to be fairly flexible on arrival and departure times. We also have no problem with you keeping in touch, should you wish, during your vacation for updates etc.
Update: We have both had our 3 covid vaccinations.

Dave and Chris were punctual, clean, tidy, and kept me updated at all times. The flat was left spotless, my cat was taken good care of, she was fed and entertained at all times, I can tell when house sitters pay attention to her, because she doesnt' pay attention to me when I return :) I totally recommend this couple as housesitters, Dave will make you have a couple of good laughs for sure and Chris will roll eyes at his sharp irony :)
