Our cat Gomez is a female former shelter cat.
She's around 5.5 yo, so still young and full of life ;)
She very much likes to play, jump, run around the place, but she also needs her quiet time.
As a former shelter cat, we don't know exactly what her previous life in the street was like, but she still has some stigmas from this past time.
Meaning that she's still afraid of sounds she doesn't know, or likes to hide to feel safe sometimes, but overall, since almost 4 years we adopted her, she's evolved like crazy !
From the first few weeks when we couldn't even be in the same room than her, to the clingy, joyful cat she is now, it's quite a big difference :)
She needs a few time to adjust to a new person and trust you, but by the time she realizes you are the food provider, she will be wayyy more at ease ;)
Overall she is quite an independent cat, we feed her twice a day (morning and evening).
The only special need with Gomez is that we need to give her a medicine once every 2 days, but she takes it without any trouble in her food.

Beside Gomez, if the temperature are getting high, it would be much appreciated to water the plants, if needed :)
High ceiling 80 sqm apartment, old but restored, in a super clean and quiet neighborhood.
1 bedroom with a small balcony. The street is full of big and high trees so the room temperature is always nice even during hot days, you get your privacy ;)
The living room and kitchen/dining area are in a row, giving a fluid an open space.
Super sunny during the day, nice view on the gardens (but not accessible)
Bathroom and WC are separated
We have a mashing machine and a tumble dryer in the bathroom
Oven and dishwasher in the kitchen, refrigerator with a small freezer
3-story building, one apartment per floor.
Our apartment is on the second floor, no elevator.

Our neighborhood is quite quiet, clean and safe, but also super close to more living areas.
From a walking distance to the nice neighborhood Saint Gilles, with bars, restaurants, close to several parcs and forests if you like outdoors, also quite close to the city center with shops and everything you might need.
We can easily give you a list of recommandations for our area and surroundings :)
