Small and modest one bedroom apartment in a well kept older building. On the third and top floor so nice, bright and quiet but as there is no elevators the ability to climb stairs is necessary. Located on Sherbrooke St. in the Notre Dame de Grace neighborhood with restaurants and shopping at your doorstep. A short bus ride to the Metro to access all of Montreal's attractions.

Montreal has much to offer visitors and if you have a car you can be in the Laurentians or the Eastern Townships in a half hour to enjoy skiing or other winter pursuits. Not to mention the border of Vermont is an hour away and New York State a half hour drive both being enjoyable day trips. I only ask that you are with the cats overnight. My cat is a rescue who prefers women so if you are a couple I would ask that you be considerate of her fears.

Alex's appartment is lovely and the two cats very affectionate, once you have been adopted. I felt at home and it was a pleasant house sitting. Alex was really thoughtful and she made me a list of nice places and shops around her appartment. Moreover, she was very responsive when I was texting her news or questions.
