We have one cat, he is 1 year old. He is not a fussy eater and needs feeding three time a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner! He likes to go out but we don't have a cat flap so he need to be let in or have the side door left open if you are in the downstairs area. However he is also happy to sleep inside if you go out for a few hours! Although he goes out occasionally he may use his litter tray - especially overnight (he is still young).
We would be grateful if you would water the patio pots, window boxes and our flower and vegetable gardens as well. There are veg and salads in the gardens, which you can eat!

Restored large mountain village house at 900m in hamlet 8 minutes from St Michel de Maurienne. Beautiful views, great mountain walking and cycling. The house is 20 minutes from the Col de Telegraf and Galibier - a famous climb on the Tour de France. Our house is very well equipped, your room is large with ensuite bathroom and double aspect with fab mountain views.

The house is large and well appointed. We have relaxer chairs on the terrace. There are many beautiful walks from the front door of the house as well as access to the largest cycling area in the world. We have a car which we could insure for your use if necessary.

It is very peaceful here, we are in a small hamlet at 900 metres above St Michel de Maurienne. It is a 15 minute walk to the town (and about 30 minutes back!) which has a supermarket, a market on Fridays and other shops and a couple of restaurants. There is a train station (St Michel Valloire) and St Jean De Maurieen is about 10 minutes away. There is a good market here on Saturday and more restaurants. Chambery is about an hour away by train.
We have a great terrace off the kitchen which a perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner and for relaxing on and admiring the amazing views. The garden is good for pottering! Our neighbours are lovely and very happy to help but don't really speak English.

It is a relatively unknown area for foreigners, which makes it all the more interesting. Chambery and Albertville are about an hour away, Lyon is two hours away and Turin about 1 and a quarter hours by train. There are charming mountain towns further up the valley, e.g. Bonneval, Brahmans etc. Our friends love coming here!

Très bon séjour chez Camilla et Ed. Le chat Wiggle est adorable et très sociable, la maison très confortable. et les salades du potager délicieuses. Très bons conseils de Ed pour des randonnées en montagne. Une première expérience Nomador très réussie !
