We have 2 cats who need feeding and company. They like lots of attention, someone to play with and laps to sit on. They have a cat flap, so can come and go as they please, but they prefer a bed to sleep on at night. They need feeding morning and evening and also have biscuits available all the time. There are a few plants in the garden that will need a bit of watering.

Ideally our Housesitters would arrive in the evening of Wednesday 5th April, so we can have dinner together and get to know you a little bit. We will then leave on our trip in the morning and return in the afternoon on Sunday 9th April.

Our cosy family house is nestled amongst the trees at the edge of the village. You can walk straight from the garden into the woods, or just relax on the terrace and admire the mountain view. All mod cons, an en-suite bathroom to our guest room and the house keeps cool, even in the summer months. This area is very quiet and secluded and this cat sitting job would suit someone who wants a great place to unwind, relax, soak up the surroundings and do a bit of site seeing in the nearby towns and villages. We have Wi-Fi and Netflix.

Espoey is a small, quiet village next to the town of Soumoulou, which has a supermarket and pharmacy etc. We are equidistant to Pau, Tarbes and Lourdes, which are each 20 minutes away by car. This is the gateway to the pyrenees, which dominate the landscape. There are lots of local walks, bike routes and lakes to Visit. The Espoey bakery is a 30 minute walk away and the Meridian shopping mall at Ibos, with Leclerc hypermarket, is only 15 minutes by car.

Pau has a lovely city centre with lots of bars and restaurants along the Boulevard des Pyrenees. You can visit the castle, or walk along the river and there are various local events throughout the summer. You can be up in the mountains within 40 minutes by car, or stay local and visit some wineries.

Un super séjour. Fred & Jo sont adorables. Un accueil chaleureux comme ci on se connaissait déjà. Leurs chats sont câlins, joueurs... Un vrai plaisir à garder et à chouchouter. La région est superbe, beaucoup de randos, de lacs... Je souhaite à tous de faire la rencontre de cette belle famille.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Fred & Joanna. Nous sommes arrivés 2 jours avant leur départ pour avoir le temps de faire connaissance et qu'ils nous expliquent ce que nous devions faire. Ils sont très accueillants, chaleureux et sympathiques, la maison et le jardin sont très agréables pour profiter du calme. Les chats (Mia et Locki) sont adorables.
