Care and attention for my five cats, four of whom are getting on in years and two of whom have medication. It's actually 4+1, as my neighbour's 18 year-old cat decided last year that he prefers to live here! Despite many attempts to direct him homewards, he has refused to budge and so is now part of the family. They have access to outside via a 'chip-reader' cat door which is locked overnight. All five require feeding according to their routines and rather fussy preferences. All use an indoor litter tray. I prefer sitters who will not have long absences from home.

Cosy modernised farmhouse in peaceful location. Spacious gardens and pool (summer only). Local bar, larger towns 10km so a car is available if necessary. Lots of country walks on the doorstep and places of interest nearby. Historic Angoulême is the nearest city (40 minute drive). Limoges airport is one hour away, Bordeaux 2 hours.

Completely peaceful hamlet consisting of a farm (arable, no animals) and 5 houses. Bar 2km and towns with supermarkets etc 10km. Doctor and pharmacy 5km. A very relaxing place, cosy in winter (central heating throughout as well as log burners in 2 rooms). Excellent satellite internet and Sky TV.

Lots of country walks. Many 12th century churches and significant local history related to World War 2, resistance memorial etc. Historic city of Angoulême 40 minutes away, La Rochefoucauld, Verteuil with chateaux, both 20 minutes. An hour to Cognac.
