We have two dogs, Reveur (male) and Oona (female). Both dogs are young, sweet and kind. Very energetic and need to be taken out for a daily walk. Both dogs were adopted, Reveur from the local animal shelter and Oona was abandoned by her owner so we took her in. If you are the jogging type, the dogs love to go out for a run every once in a while! Both dogs are great with children, nevertheless, we never leave our daughter unattended. Both dogs do not appreciate cats. We unfortunately cannot accept your pets if you are travelling with them. Thank you for understanding. Our indoor and outdoor plants need to be watered every once in a while too :)

Bonjour ! Nous souhaitons une arrivée le 2 ou 3 novembre ( à confirmer selon mes horaires de train - départ pas encore réservé) Nous reviendrons ensuite du 8 au 11 novembre et repartirons jusqu'au 16. Nous vous proposons soit de rester avec nous et de partager la maison (1 salle de bain surtout) pendant ces 4 jours soit de profiter de ces 4 jours pour visiter d'autres coins dans la région si vous en avez l'envie :) La chambre peut accueillir deux personnes. Malheureusement nous ne pouvons pas accepter vos animaux domestiques si vous voyagez avec. Merci de votre compréhension.

A home in a small town in the South West of France (Gers) with a 800m2 garden with a countryside view and two young energetic dogs called Reveur and Oona. Recently renovated our home is a mix of both modern and regional styles. The town is located on the St. Jacques de Compostelle (Camino) route. Starting April, many pilgrims come into town. There is the local cafe/restaurant open from April until October which is a great plus for the locals as well as the visitors! We are a ten minute drive from all the necessary commodities. We are a 45 minute drive from the closest train stations (SNCF) in Agen or Auch. Our home is a quiet home with a garden overlooking the countryside. We are exposed to the South and sometimes manage to see the beautiful Pyrenees from the garden!

The countryside here is very agricultural. A lot of farm land surrounding the town in general. The town is also located on the St. Jacques de Compostelle (Camino) route. Many visitors come into town, either stay the night or just pass through. The local food here is great. You can buy local products in the towns nearby; there is a weekly farmer's market on Fridays saturdays and tuesdays. The local cafe/restaurant is open 6 days a week from April until October. You can have tea/coffee, lunch or early dinner there. The owner is very hospitable and knows the town and its surroundings very well. The cafe has a mini market where you can find last minute basic things. There is a 4 star hotel in the village as well where you can have dinner and/or drinks! There is a charming fountain in the village you can visit, as well as an old wash house. The town also has a lovely 16th century church open for visitors. You definitely need a car here as there is no local transportation. The closest bus stop is a 10 minute drive which can take you all the way to Agen or Auch (where the two main train stations are).

We had an amazing time in Marsolan caring for the two energetic but adorable dogs Oona and Reveur. The house is a delight, the surrounding countryside, villages and hikes amazing. Sumaya was so welcoming with her lovely family and even with their very busy lives took the time to make us feel at home and kept us informed during our stay. Their daughter Selma is a delight, we'd happily return and recommend caring for these two adventurous dogs!

We have Just left Sumaya and Julian's house in the medieval village of Marsolan in South West France. A really lovely couple with a lovely young daughter who is rather good at Uno. The dogs Oona and Revere Rev are lovely. After initial nervousness they were like long lost friends. They like long walks and would be happy to walk all day if you are that way inclined. The house is an ongoing renovation but themajority is done and its really clean comfortable. We have no reservations in recommending Anyone to house sit here. You do need to be quite strict and keep them under when around other dogs cats and wild animals as they are both hhunters. Thank you so much Sumaya and Julian.

Sumaya est une hôtesse adorable. Sa maison est situé dans un « authentique « village de campagne situé sur la route du chemin de Compostelle. La Maison est typique et pleine de charme… Un vrai coup de foudre pour Oona et Rêveur les 2 chiens. Ils sont très câlins 🤗 et demandent de l’affection. J’étais triste de les quitter à mon départ. Les promenades dans la campagne environnante sont très agréables. La région, les villages alentours sont à découvrir. Bref ravie de mon séjour… Sumaya, merci de ta confiance et peut-être à une prochaine fois. Bien sincèrement Carole
