Our cat -Lilly -is 8 years old. The older she becomes, the more quiet and content she is. She doesn´t like always to be close to human beings, but if she is in the mood, she loves it to be pampered by stroking. You should feed her, open the door for her to go out and to let her in again. In former times she was ok living completely outside during our holidays, but since some time she doesn´t like it anymore, so we would love to have someone who takes care of her and gives her the feeling of not being alone in the house. Our neighbours in the house would care for her as well, but we don´t want it for a longer period of time, as they also grew old and the other ones are on holiday as well. Sometimes she is a bit sceptic of foreign people, but this disappears very fast. She is just lovely - we love her! She doesn´t need attention all the time, and it is no problem for excursions to leave her alone during a whole day.

Additionally it would be nice, to water the plants in the garden, if necessary. Dependent on the weather it could be more or less work to do it. As far as possible we try to safe water and to water only as much as really necessary.
Our trip is booked from 29th april to 26th May. Maybe we would like to leave one or two days earlier to visit family and friends on the way to our destination or maybe prolonging on the way home for this purpose. We would appreciated to welcome you at least 1 day (maybe better 2 days) before our departure, to get to know eachother, to introduce you to our neighbours, to show and explain you everything what is necessary for you to know. It could be also nice to enjoy some time together before our departure or after our return.

Lovely Apartment, on the edge of black forest. It is on the whole first floor of the house with three apartments, 120 m², with big balcony. There are stairs from the balcony directly down to our own part of the garden - our little oasis, which we love so much. The house is almost at the end of the street, 3 km away from Ettlingen, an old small lovely city, also called the "gate to the blackforest".
5/8 Min. to the bus stop / local trainstation. With the local train it takes only 10 minutes to the main station of Karlsruhe and max.30 minutes to the center of the city. The surrounding nature invites you to walks, hiking, cycling... You can start directly with the first step out of the house, crossing the fields and walking up the hills to the forest. We love it! Two lakes are also nearby - 15 and 30 minutes walk. You can use one of our bicycles as well. Supermarkets are about 8 and 15 mintues walk away. A second garden - second oasis - with some fruit trees also belongs to our apartment, it is 1 min. away from the house.

As music lovers we have lots of CDs, Lots of DVDs for those who like films, The bookshelfes are full of books, also books of art. There is a piano in the living room and an E-Piano in the room of our daughter (she is abroad for one year). We also can offer to use a bicycle, if you feel like.
