You can freely use the whole house (appr. 300 square meters, 4 bed rooms, 2 baths) and garden / land as you like, the only requirement is to feed the animals with mainly hay and some grain once a day and to refill the water containers when empty (approx. one hour of work). If there are problems, there is a contact person near by who can help. We would like to go skiing together (family with 6 children) for a week and are looking for someone (there is place for up to 8 persons, a family would be ideal) to care for the animals.

Magdeburg with the oldest gothic cathedral in Germany is 20 min. away by car or 10 min. away by train from the train station of Niedernodeleben (10 Min. by feet from our house). Berlin (150 km distance) can be reached by car in appr. 2 hours or less or by train in appr. two hours. There are a lot of other intersting sites to visit in the region, among others Dessau with the Bauhaus Museum and original buildings, Weimar with the Goethe House etc.).

It was a great pleasure looking after the house and the animals while Imre and his family went skiing. The house is huge with a lot of space and lots of board games and toys for kids. Imre was available every day to answer any questions and in case of emergency there are neighbours around as well. Every family member we met was extremely kind and lovable. We had a great time and can definitely imagine to come back sometime. Thanks a lot!
