Important note 1: Please only contact us through Nomador and do not use the private rental websites where we advertise the villa commercially. Important note 2: We can only read and reply to messages sent in English. The sole responsibility of this position is to care for my three puppies: a Siberian Husky (2 years old & 6 months), one American Akita (2 years) and one chocolate Labrador (2 years). All three dogs are medium sized, energetic animals and need two walks per day. The size and energy of the dogs, plus the rugged terrain of Taormina, means that this position would be best suited to (a) one fit / very fit individual who is happy to spend 2 - 3 hours a day dog walking or (b) a fi couple who double up on the walking. The villa has a gardener and housekeeper and as such you will not be principally responsible for these (except for your own cottage), although if you wish to help out then that will be appreciated. Affectionately known as Villa Krater, after the symposial dinner parties held on our Grand Terrace for friends and family, the villa is the home of a working Anglo-Greek novelist and is available as a luxury retreat best enjoyed by large families, groups of friends or as a location for VIP events and luxury shoots. Villa Krater is located in the heart of Central Taormina, on a secluded hillside just 200m and two minutes from the main street (Corso Umberto) and other tourist attractions such as Greek theatre and public gardens. As such, the villa is one of fewer than five private villas in the whole of Taormina which can accommodate 10+ guests, with nearly all similarly sized properties being located located 5 - 10km away in neighbouring towns such as Letojani and Giardini Naxos. The villa (which inclusive of terraces is some 8000 sq. feet) sleeps 14 people in 6 bedrooms and can be extended to 21 people in 9 bedrooms if our nearby luxury apartment is included in the arrangement. The villa has panoramic views of Mount Etna, the Greek theatre, Giardinni Naxos, Madonna Della Rocca, Castello di Taormina and the local botanical gardens.
