I have a 1yo rescue cat. She needs fresh water, a bowl of food and a clean litter box every day. She's shy, but once she knows you she will also enjoy some play time and some cuddles, especially in the evening. I also have plants, that will require watering (more or less twice per week).

The dates are flexible on the end side: if you cannot stay the whole period it's fine, as I will arrange the remaining days with some friends. It would be great if you can come at least one day before the beginning, so we can get to know each other, and you can be properly introduced to the cat and the house!

Spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a big balcony. It's just 4 minutes walking from the metro station (line that directly brings you to Amsterdam Centraal). You can also walk to the train station, that connects directly with Schipol airport, or to many other Dutch cities. The neighbourhood has all the services, from supermarkets to bakeries and lovely cafès.

I have a bike, and there are several CDs and books at home. I also have board games, most of them are in English and can be played by a single player. You can use Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ on the TV, or play with the NintendoDS. Magazines and comic books are also available

The house is in a very convenient position in Diemen Zuid. It's very close to the metro and train station, so you can be in Amsterdam city center in 15 minutes, but enjoy quiter nights here in Diemen. In Diemen Zuid everything is within walking distance, so you can do your grocery, enjoy a great coffee or a nice pint in the neighborhood itself. If you want to reach Amsterdam or Diemen Centrum, that's also possible by bike (I will leave one at home). In Diemen Centrum there's also the market (on Wednesday), the mall and the cinema!

Also, you can have a great coffe at both DSTRC.DZ and Louffee coffee. The pizza place Margherita Tutta La Vita is a nice spot for a pizza and a spritz (and I'm Italian!), while Barabas Food serves food from all-over the world, paired with good beer. If you fancy Indian food, Delhi-cious will satisfy you, and the waiters are always incredibly kind.
Diemen doesn't have turistic spots, but it is very close (and very well connected) to Amsterdam.

If you like art, my favourite museums (so far) are the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh musuem, the Stedelijk (contemporary), the STRAAT (street art) and the FOAM (photography). If it's a cold and rainy day, you can spend a few hours in the OBA library next to central station, one of my favourite places in the city to relax. It also has a great view of the city from the last floor.

If you are into good food, Amsterdam will not disappoint: the city is full of great restaurants: some of my personal favourite are OTEMBA (gyoza), Casa nostra (Italian), Gangam chicken (korean), Bhatti Pasal Klinkers (Nepalese) and Pho King (Vietnamese). If you're into vintage clothing, then episode and kilo shop are two must-go spots, together with all the boutiques in Haarlemmerstraat (great street in any case). If you're into flea market, check out IJ-Hallen! And lastly, if you like cinemas, The Movies (independent) and Pathé Tuschinski (big chain) have amazing interiors, that are worthy a visit!
Caterina a été très accueillante et sympathique. L'appartement était très bien situé pour découvrir Amsterdam. Quant à Pepper, elle va nous manquer car elle adore les câlins et est très mignonne. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Caterina.
