Our home is much loved, very clean and beautifully furnished (if I say so myself!). The main focus of the sit are our animals. We have an adorable indoor only cat. He is extremely chilled and if he likes you, you will honestly make plans to steal him, he is THAT amazing. Our two doggies have been with us for many years and have seen the world. They are very relaxed inside the house and don’t bark. They like to sleep in, especially in winter. Both are getting older, so no super long walks required - but if you love the forest, they will happily join you. They can stay home alone for some hours so you are free to go shopping or visit Oslo. One dog gets medication but takes it well. Same for the cat. Experience with dogs would be great. They are pretty easy going but one is dog reactive (NOT aggressive). But then again, out here you rarely meet people, let alone other dogs :)

Haus

This is the place to get away from it all. Space, nature and loving animals. Large and modern house with great insulation and heated floors. Three bedrooms, two baths of which one has a bathtub. Huge fully equipped kitchen and large balcony. Spacious living room with a wood fireplace. The house is surrounded by fields and woods. Around 35 min by train to Oslo, train leaving once an hour. A car is needed to get to shops and public transport (short 5 minute drive). We can discuss use of our car (also to go for walks with the dogs). Fast internet and everything is set up perfectly to work from home. One office with large screen, adjustable desk and a view for miles, one smaller office with a simple desk upstairs. We have a number of streaming services ;)

We are very tidy, quiet people. Vegan 🌱 but you don’t have to be of course. We love good coffee and have a proper machine. Bath tub, meditation room and nice terrace plus an enclosed garden will have you relaxed in no time. And if you do need to work, the main office is in the winter garden and has views over fields and trees. Our place is the ideal home for people that want to get away from things, go for walks, maybe try horse riding, cook a nice meal and sleep like a baby (every visitor tells us they haven’t slept this good in ages). Oslo can be reached by train in ca. 32 minutes, train station is 5 minutes by car.

It has been a wonderful experience meeting Anna Lena, Victor, and their adorable pets. They are such a warm and loving family. I will always cherish the sweet welcome I received and the daily affection from their dogs, Naila and Molly. Both are incredibly smart and easy to care for—except for the occasional excitement when Molly spotted a cat! Then there’s Fuchur, their peaceful and gentle cat, with whom I spent many relaxing evenings. Their home is beautiful, and Anna Lena and Victor were exceptionally kind, always ensuring I felt comfortable. I never lacked for anything during my stay, and it was truly a joy to meet them. I can only wish anyone the opportunity to meet this wonderful family, but deep down, I hope they will call me again because I enjoyed staying with them so much 😊
