There are 2 cats. I adopted Inca 5 years ago, the King of the house, very easy going and affectionate. There is also Indi, the female kitten, born in the house 2 years ago (her mother died last year after fighting with a wild cat still hanging around in the neighbourhood). She's a bit fearful but very kind and playful. You'll have to be patient so she gets used to you. Playing with her is the best way she can trust you and get closer. She needs to be in the house every night as she never slept outside by herself. I expect the house-sitter to look carefully after the cats, feed them, clean the litter, and water once a week the plants, inside and in the courtyard (patio).

Traditional mallorquin house in the countryside of Mallorca, center north. 20mn from the beach, 20mn from the mountains, 35mn from airport and Palma de Mallorca city. So you'll need a car as there is only one bus passing by. There are 4 supermarkets (small but everything you need) in the village, bars and restaurants open all year long but not on Mondays! Nice walks or bike rides around the village. There is everything you need at home: chimney&wood, aircon, heaters, proper kitchen, etc. If you come with a car, there are always places to park down my road, which is a one way road where you can't park. Everybody likes to gather around the chimney in the evening, with cats, always around.

The countryside is beautiful, and you can go hiking in the Tramuntana as this period of the year is the best for walking around. There a city called Inca 10mn far where you'll find everything. You can go by train to Palma (30mn) but you'll have to walk 20mn to the train station of Llubi (no shuttle bus) or drive and leave the car at the train station. Mallorca is very different from the North to the South, East and West, and actually quite big, many people are always surprised of its size. I personally prefer the North where I live as it's more wild and preserved. I like going to the Parque del Llevant which is a natural reserve in the north east. It's stunning! The Tramuntana is now Unesco Heritage, so it says it all. You'll find the best almonds, honey, oranges, mandarines, lemons and many other delicious local products if you're adventurous.

Palma is 35mn far by car or train. Most of beautiful creeks are 45mn drive, otherwise the Bay of Alcudia is 20mn driving or Pollensa Bay 30mn driving. There is so much to see, that I'll leave some indications at home for you to make your choice.

Cécile m'a reçue très chaleureusement dans sa maison avant son départ. La communication entre nous a été tout a fait agréable et naturelle avant et pendant mon séjour. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de soin et ca a été pour moi un vrai bonheur d'y habiter 10 jours et de m'occuper de Inka et Indie. Je reviendrai volontiers à une prochaine occasion! Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Cécile. Inka, Tuki et Indie, les 3 chats de la maison sont adorables; une maison très agréable, décorée avec beaucoup de soin, et une terrasse avec vue sur la montagne pour prendre d agréables repas. Nous n' avons pas rencontré Cécile physiquement mais communiquions régulièrement. Au plaisir de renouveler l experience si l opportunité se présente.
