We have two cats, Gogo and Didi. We want someone to feed them, change their litter tray, keep their water fresh and spend a bit of time with them. It's fine to be out during the day or in the evenings, as long as you're home for a few waking hours of the day to play with them. We also have a few outdoor plants which need to be watered every evening and indoor plants which need watered once every 4/5 days.

Our home is on a quiet street in Badalona. It's a charming neighbourhood on the beach, with lots of icecream parlours, bars, restaurants and plazas where you can sit and watch the world go by. Our house is a 15 minute walk from the beach, which has a couple of beach bars, volleyball and some water sports. There is also a nice beachfront promenade with lots of spots to eat, and a high street with shops like H&M and Mango. It's very well connected, with a train that goes to Plaça Catalunya in 20 minutes, and a metro line which crosses Barcelona and gets you to Sagrada Familia in 20 minutes. However, it's a more relaxed atmosphere than the city centre, with fewer tourists and less traffic. Our home is a calm place with lots of books, a small patio for relaxing in the evenings, a well equipped kitchen for preparing meals, and very comfortable beds!

If you're interested in culture, there are lots of museums, galleries and monuments to visit. It's also a great foodie destination, with amazing food markets, tapas bars and restaurants. If you like the beach, we're a 15 minute walk from Badalona beach, but there are more secluded beaches easily accessible by train. For lovers of nature, there is one of Europe's biggest city parks, Collserolla, where you can walk in the woods and explore the hills behind Barcelona.
