We need someone who loves cats who like to cuddle. One of our cats doesn't like it if someone is away overnight and will poop on the furniture to show her displeasure. The litter box needs to be scooped regularly and fresh food and water supplied daily. Other than that, just general play and cuddles are required. Both cats are very sweet and good with kids.

We live in a three bedroom apartment outside of Lausanne, Switzerland. From our apartment you have a good view of Lausanne, as well as a view of the French alps across Lake Geneva. We are situated close to the vineyards of Switzerland and about a ten minute walk from Lake Geneva. The metro (about a five minute walk) will take you straight to Lausanne or to the train station where you can catch the train to Geneva (45 minute train ride).

We are situated close enough to the city where a car is not needed. There is some beautiful forest land within walking distance as well as a beach area on Lake Geneva. There is a small playground outside of our apartment where kids can happily play. Easy access to Lausanne, Vevey, and Geneva where there are lots of cultural museums to occupy your time. In Lausanne there is a biweekly market (Wednesday and Saturday mornings) where fresh fruits and vegetables can be found as well as an array of cheese and pastry items.

Lausanne is the olympic capitol of the world and ha the Olympic museum which is well worth a visit. There are numerous other museums as well that are worth a visit. Down town Lausanne is full of quirky little shops that are well worth your time and Lausanne cathedral is beautiful. Trains are within easy access to take you into the local vineyards or into the surrounding mountains. Great hiking trails are in this region as well, and some tours by train, such as the Chocolate train to take you to the nestle factory.
