Milka is a 7-year-old Labrador mix - smaller size than the average lab, only about 20 kg. She is very loving and kind, great with kids, though she can get territorial with other dogs if food is involved. She needs a couple of walks a day, and appreciates a good cuddle if you have any to spare :-). She doesn't have any special needs, but she can't be left alone the whole day or very late in the evening as she gets stressed and starts barking, and stresses the neighbours... She is good in the car and loves joining on day trips and hikes.

A cozy flat on the first floor of a lovely apartment building set in a vast, beautiful gated garden. There is a fireplace for cozy winter nights, a view of the Mont-Blanc from the living area, and a balcony with a beautiful view of orchards, vineyards, mountains, and the village, for warm summer evenings. There is a fully equipped recently renovated kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate WC. There's also big windows, lots of light and pleasant views all around. Come and see for yourself :-). P.S. The apartment is on the first floor, and there is no lift.

The kitchen is recently renovated and a pleasure to cook in, as it has a beautiful view and access to the balcony. There is also a very cozy fireplace in the living room, if you are visiting in the winter. There is Netflix and Disney+ on the TV, as well as over 20 English-speaking channels.

The flat is lovely and bright, with big windows, nice views all around and lots of natural light. It is is set on a quiet and pretty road, just a short stroll among vineyards from the centre of the village, where you can find a perfect little restaurant/café. There are plenty of lovely walks around, including the famous "Toblerones Route" along the Serine river, which is only a couple minutes' walk from the house. There is a bright, cosy and quiet guestroom with a double bed and a view of the garden.

The area is stunning! We are situated near Lake Geneva, half an hour from both Geneva and Lausanne, and close to countless charming lakeside towns such as Nyon, Rolle, and Coppet. We are less than an hour away from the closest ski slopes and the amazing cities of Vevey and Montreux, under two hours away from Chamonix, Gruyères, and many other gorgeous destinations in Switzerland and France. There are great hikes all around, great beaches, and even a spectacular outdoor pool in Nyon. There are tons to see and explore.

Vicky, son mari et leur fille ont été adorables avec moi. Ils m'ont reçue comme un membre de leur famille. Milka est extra ! Incroyablement intelligente, elle comprend absolument tout ! Quand je la promenais, elle ralentissait et se retournait vers moi pour voir si ça allait. Elle est géniale cette chienne ! Je n'ai jamais autant pris plaisir à m'occuper d'un chien ! Leur appartement est cocooning et le cadre magnifique. J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour chez eux. J'y retournerai volontiers :) à bientôt j'espère.

Rencontre agréable et contacts très fluides avec Vicky et Chris en Francais ou Anglais. S'occuper de Milka, si bien élevée, prendre son rythme et celui du village fut un plaisir simple et sain. L' appartement est fonctionnel et le village tranquille mais aussi bien desservi. whatsapp nous a été utile : passage de consignes ou arrangements horaires pour les jours de départ et d'arrivée. It was a real pleasure to look after Milka for Vicky, Chris and Olivia. Milka's a real sweetheart, and easy to care for. She has access to a big back yard for running around but she is also good on the lead for walks. The surrounding area; village, lake, and mountains are what a Swiss retreat is all about; fresh air, incredible views and a calm, peaceful atmosphere amongst the orchards and vineyards. Thanks to Vicky for inviting me to housesit and look after Milka!
