Daily, Feed them wet food in the morning and early evening, and dry food before bed. Give Kebab pets and let him sit on you. Let Sir Edmund smell your finger, and give him some scratches.
Weekly tasks are topping up the water fountain and maintaining the Litter Robot (emptying and topping up).
We have a Litter Robot 3, which eliminates daily scooping. You have to empty the bag once it is full, and add a new bag, once every 5-7 days. You also should periodically top up the sand -- but not too much, just fill until 2cm below the line inside.
There is an app that will tell you when the robot is full, or if there is a glitch.

They usually play with each other, but also appreciate some play time with you. If you can spare a few minutes a day to play with them, they would be happy!

We also have some plants that need watering. We aren't very knowledgeable plant owners, so we just water when we think they look thirsty.

The apartment is near Bäckeranlage park in 8004, easily connected to all the main attractions in Zurich, such as the lake, the old town, and the financial centre. Coop, Migros, and Denner supermarkets are within walking distance, and train stations are just a short bus or tram ride away, where you can buy things on Sundays as well (usually stores are closed Sundays). There are plenty of hip restaurants, bars, and thrift stores to explore. There is an Asian store down the street, as well as a PureGym.
The apartment is a corner unit on the 2nd floor of a building with 11 other apartments. There is no elevator. It has light wooden floors, windows in every room, and heaters in every room as well, which keep the place very warm through winter. The windows are double insulated, but they unfortunately are not completely sound proof.

We have grassy inner courtyard in the back of our apartment, shared with a few other buildings. There is a children's playground in there.
Our bedrooms face east and get the morning sun. Our kitchen faces west and into the courtyard. Our living room has a balcony facing east and a window facing north.
Our bathroom has a shower/bathtub, frosted window, and a towel heater.
Our kitchen has an 4-ring electric stove, oven, microwave, electric kettle, rice cooker, Instant Pot & Air Fryer, and dishwasher. We also have an additional freezer, so there will be plenty of fridge and freezer space for your stay.
Our smaller bedroom is where we usually sleep, with a queen sized bed and naturally a cat tree. We will (try our hardest!) to leave space in the closet for you.

The washing machine and dryer is in the basement and shared with the whole building. There is a sign-up sheet.
Zurich is home to many museums like the Swiss National Museum, has viewpoints all over the city, and a beautiful clean lake to swim in or gaze at on a ferry trip. There is a lot to explore, including the Lindt Chocolate Museum nearby

Victoria and Killian are a fabulous and friendly couple. I had the chance to spend time with them before their holiday and really loved their warm personalities. Communication with them was always easy and they provided very clear guidance on their home and cat needs.
Kebab and Sir Edmund are the best boys. So lovable and cuddly and I was so sad to leave them after a wonderful three weeks. Kebab will become attached to your hip and Sir Edmund likes to play hard (but not that hard) to get. Eventually he too will come to you for cuddles and attention.
My husband and I both adored these cats and Victoria and Killian's lovely home in Zurich. Hope to see you both again soon! xx
