Welcome to our home in Sam Roi Yot! Our newly built one-bedroom home is a peaceful oasis designed for indoor-outdoor living. The fenced property on a quiet street has 64 square meters interior space and over 50 square meters of covered exterior living space amongst palm trees and peekaboo views of the mountains. Our home is on a quiet street in a rural neighborhood just 300 meters from the beach. The area is surrounded by lush palm tree groves and mountains. If you walk to the local store to get some fresh eggs, you'll see cows wandering on the road. Start your morning with a coffee in the bamboo hut and a refreshing outdoor shower. Wind down at night with a game of pool in the covered outdoor lounge and a moonlit dip in the 10-meter long private pool. Other features of the home include 2 outdoor eating areas, a fresh herb garden, covered parking, and dedicated work area in a small stand alone office building. Inside, we have all the conveniences of modern life like high-speed internet, large-screen tv, dishwasher, and air-conditioning. Furniture is contemporary and comfortable, and the house is bright and light. What we love about Sam Roi Yot is it still feels like the old Thailand from decades ago, before all the tourism. The peacefulness and nature and slow pace of life make it very relaxing. And yet it still has all the conveniences of modern life (and if you are craving big city action, the city of Hua Hin with its malls and nightclubs is only an hour away). The beach road is great for walking and for riding bikes. There are also places to book local excursions and rent kayaks. It's also wonderful for eating! It has 12+ restaurants, nothing fancy but all absolutely delicious and with extremely reasonable prices. If you want to cook, you can buy ingredients at the local outdoor market, the local grocery store, and the local 7/11 (sounds strange but here the 7/11s carry almost everything you need including fresh fruit). Located 3.5 hours from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, this peaceful beach village is a hidden gem of Thailand. Our cosy house is just minutes from the ocean where you can enjoy long walks, watch the locals go fishing in their brightly colored wooden boats, head out kayaking to explore the nearby islands, or enjoy an outdoors massage with a beautiful view. Also on the beach road are wonderful local restaurants: enjoy delicious Thai dishes right on the beach, iced lattes at a cute hipster cafe, home-cooked Indian food, and even fresh burgers and over-fired pizza if you're craving some Western food. Golden Buddhist temples and local Thai markets are close by, and Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is only a 15 minute drive away. Sam Roi Yot translates to "300 peaks" and the park is a perfect place to explore its limestone mountains and enjoy expansive views of the Gulf of Thailand. Tons of great places to explore including our favorite hike to Phraya Nakhon Cave, where a royal pavilion was built over a century ago at the bottom of the cavernous chamber. Go in the morning to see the sunlight illuminate the cave through the open ceiling.

I had an amazing experience in Sam Roi Yot at Lynn and Chris' house. I was working online, it is a really quiet and beautiful place close to the beach with a lot of possible activities. When I arrived Lynn took the time to show me the area, how everything worked and introduced me to their cats. Cleo and Oscar were a bit shy during a few days but then they were friendly and followed me every morning while I was wattering the garden, how sweet! Oscar loves his milk treat and being brushed while Cleo enjoys playing with a toy and being pet. When I had some issues Chris and Lynn were very reactive and all went well during my stay. They gave me some advice on the best activities to do and left a map with all their favorite places to go to. I can only highly recommand to take care of their house and kitties. Thanks for your trust and for this amazing opportunity to come to Thailand 🤗

Lynn and Chris are very friendly people, they try to accommodate as much as possible. Their house is lovely, very beautiful and well equipped. Oscar and Cleo are such lovely cats, they are very shy at first and very warm and cuddly when they trust you. They love their milk break (especially Oscar) and Cleo is a very playful buddy! We loved our time in Lynn and Chris villa, it is very quiet place. We enjoyed our stay!
