My dog is a mixed-breed terrier and the two cats are generic domestic cats. The dog needs a walk and fed morning and evening, and the cats fed morning and evening. The dog gets separation anxiety but is ok being left for a few hours at a time. All 3 are 12/13 years old, so not spring chickens. The dog sleeps in the bedroom and the cats are free to sleep where they want. I have a good number of house plants that will need watered once or twice a week, and plants in the garden that may need care.

I am leaving early on Wednesday 28th September and it would be good for the house sitter(s) to come at least two days before I leave so they can get to know the animals, house, area and we can get to know each other (though I will be working for those days). I'll be back very early in the morning (after midnight) on Friday 14th October.

I have a good number of DVDs and a Netflix subscription. I have a portable piano which is available for playing, and a treadmill along with a couple of other pieces of workout equipment. I have a large bookshelf with various genres and natural history books. I have two bikes, one electric, that can be used.

Dalgety Bay is a pleasant, peaceful suburban area. Shopping is easy with supermarkets nearby and local markets once a month. Dunfermline is 15 minutes away with Edinburgh 30 minutes on the train. The house is easy to live in and look after. Not currently got photos of the inside of the house, but will get them up asap. I am vegan and do not allow animal products (meat, dairy, eggs or honey etc) in the house, as far as is practically possible. The garden is a good space to sit in when the weather is adequate.

The Fife Coastal Path is a 10 minute walk from the house, and Edinburgh is 30 minutes away. Other woodland walks are also within 10 minutes of the house. National Trust for Scotland properties, Hopetoun House, and Historic Environment Scotland properties are within easy travel. Edinburgh has lots of museums, theatres and hill walks, as well as train links to other parts of Scotland.

Staying in Emma's house was an absolute pleasure : her dog Spot and her cats were lovely and we really enjoyed to stay there with them. The house is close to Edinburgh and the neighbourhood is really calm, quiet and nice for walking. Emma is an extraordinary kind, funny and comprehensive woman. I recommand her without any doubt, you can trust her for sure ✌️❤️
