Kaiju is a mix, but looks like a German Shepard. Mitz is a Mancoon. Animals need to be let out in the morning to use the restroom and in the evening before bed. Kaiju cannot be let outside without supervision, but Mitz can stay out all day if she wants. Kaiju should not be left home alone for more than 8 hours at a time on any given day, and will need be let out to use the restroom before you leave and as soon as you return. If you leave for a full 8 hour period, please put him on a leash and take him for a short walk in the neighborhood when you return. Essentially, Kaiju needs 3 bathroom breaks a day... one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. Mitz can be let in and out as you please, but she should be called back in at night. If she doesnt come, no stress, just please call for her in the morning when you let Kaiju out. We have a recently renovated home in the Sierra Nevada foothills. We keep a clean house and our pets are house trained. Both Mitz (cat) and Kaiju (dog) sleep inside at night and need to be let out to go to the bathroom in the mornings. Mitz is allowed outside whenever she wants, but Kaiju needs to be watched diligently when outside as he will jet off to chase neighborhood cats and is not allowed out on his own without supervision. We have a big kitchen and a sunroom where you can enjoy an espresso in the morning (we have a Delongi machine). We have a big back deck and a front porch where you can relax and enjoy each day. It is about a 20 minute drive to the Yuba River or a 25 minute drive to the American River down near Auburn. Our house is about a half a mile (walking distance) from downtown Grass Valley and about 8 minutes by car to downtown Nevada City.

Also the view overlooking the yard from the sunroom and the back porch are amazing :) The house itself has a lot of natural light.
