DOG We have a super sweet and friendly mutt named Mesa. She's a mixed breed, but we think Red Heeler/cattle dog + beagle or possibly jack russel terrier or something. She's thin build about 50lbs. She's 5 yrs old, very friendly and submissive, can be skittish with loud noises, but otherwise a happy girl. She's also dog and kiddo friendly. She sadly hates walks! So housesitters are not expected to walk her. Our property is fenced in and she'll enjoy just coming in and out of the yard throughout the day. So she's pretty easy! She'll need to eat 2x/day (morning and evening) and be given fresh water. And lots of love. At night, she sleeps by herself downstairs on her floor bed or on the section of the couch that she's allowed on (she knows. And is very well-behaved). PLANTS We have 9 indoor plants that just need to be watered 1x/week. All low-maintenance. HOUSE: It's expected that housesitters will maintain the house indoors with heat monitoring. lighting, and basic cleanliness. All doors should be locked when leaving for any length of time. SNOW It's Denver (so much sunshine), so when it snows, it will often disappear by that afternoon or the next day as the sun melts it pretty quickly. On the infrequent occasion that it snows a lot, it's expected that the walkway out front (short) and the sidewalk (short) will be shoveled to ensure no one gets hurt and that we don't receive a fine from the city. We'll leave a shovel easily accessible. I recommend shoveling the driveway and walkway in the back as well if you're using a vehicle to ensure the gate can be opened. That's it! Easy!

MORE PICS COMING SOON! Modest, supercute, well-appointed 3bdrm, 2 bath ranch house with finished basement in West Denver, with a pretty sweet setup. Open kitchen with all appliances (gas stove, oven, dishwasher, etc), lots of natural light. The main house is approx. 1700 sq feet and then we have an enclosed '3-season porch' in the back that's another 100+sq feet. This room is another fun living area with a smart TV, seating and dining area, that overlooks our backyard setup through the floor to ceiling windows and French doors. Our backyard is equipped with a deck, comfortable patio seating, awesome gas firepit, regular grill as well as a Traeger smoker! Denver's (mostly) mild winter days, allow for the porch and yard to be enjoyed year-round. This is a 420-friendly home but absolutely no cigarette/nicotine smoking allowed indoors. There is also onsite laundry w/ washer/dryer available for use, as well as a spin bike and workout area. The house is located in an urban but residential part of Denver, just south of the very popular Sloan's Lake and Highlands neighborhoods. Sloan's Lake park is walking (but a longer walk) distance or a very short drive/uber or bike ride. …

This area offers many popular restaurants and bars, including the Edgewater Public Market, as well as other helpful amenities including Supermarket, Target, liquor stores, and boutique shops, etc. We're also very close to Empower Field at Mile High Stadium where the Broncos play and where many other events and concerts are held throughout the year. And BONUS we're super close to the newly opened Meow Wolf venue! We have a gated driveway for your vehicle and we're also walking distance to the W-Line train that takes you downtown and to the Pepsi arena (large venue with many events and shows) as well as to the airport via connection to the A-line (easy breezy), among many other locations and attractions.. We also live right on a picturesque bike path that takes you directly to downtown Denver and many other cool areas of interest without ever having to get on a road! We're also a short drive or uber ride to the neighboring communities of Golden, CO and Morrison, CO where you can enjoy great hiking and the best outdoor music venue ever at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
