We have two older (13 years) Siberian Huskies. They are medium-sized (40-45 lbs each) and generally well-behaved. They are fed twice a day and, because our yard is not fenced, will need to be taken out on leashes for potty breaks 3-4 times per day. They can be left alone for up to 8 hours when necessary. We prefer they be walked around the block once a day, but that is not required every day.

We have cozy bedroom with a queen bed and large desk and office chair available for traveling nomadors. We usually have fruit or maybe a small snack available if you arrive hungry. We love traveling and enjoy Airbnb, so we're happy to give back to the traveling community.

Our house is an A-frame built in 1963. It has a large living room extension so there is room to relax. Bathrooms and the kitchen are updated. We have a very large front deck with a grill and bar area and a large back deck with fire pit for those chilly evenings. No smoking in the house or on the grounds. We are surrounded by a Ponderosa Pine forest in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

We are a 5 minute drive from the local coffee hangout; they serve awesome burritos smothered with green chili! Three grocery stores, multiple restaurants, gas stations, etc. are 15 minutes "up the hill" in Conifer, Colorado. Tiny Town is a local attraction with miniature painted houses and a kiddie train (open during the summer). Nearby Indian Hills has a high end art gallery, a sandwich and macaroni lunch spot, and a tattoo parlor. The neighborhood has great dirt and paved roads for walking and it is not unusual to run into other folks enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather. We have a Little Free Library at the end of our driveway.
