You will need the use of a car. I am in a bedroom community of a large city. There are pools and parks to walk to which are a few houses away but the grocery store and hospital as well as any shopping will require a car. We are 3 houses down from our HOA community pool and playground. So you can cool off at the end of a hot day when in season.
