We need someone to care for three cats (one of whom needs daily meds, which he takes in food), water plants, set the trash and recycling out, accept packages, and make the house look lived in.

If we currently have a rescue cat or cats we're fostering, which we don't always, responsibilities would include care of that cat or cats, plus the possibility of needing to coordinate with the rescue organization in case the cat(s) need to go to the vet or to an adoption event. December 2019: We currently have three cats living here, one of whom is elderly and needs daily medication (a cream rubbed inside his ear.)
Our kitchen is large and well-equipped. We have an extra car we can let you use, so long as you have insurance and a valid driver's license. There is a large-screen television with DVR in our lower-level family room. Reliable hi-speed wireless internet.

I cannot say enough good things about Valerie T She cared for our anxious dog and leopard gecko while we were on vacation. She provided my daughter with daily updates and we came home to a house that was cleaner than we left it, along with a homemade loaf of bread. In addition to caring for our pets (and putting up with the electricity going out), Valerie watered our garden, washed the sheets, did all the dishes. Our dog is a bit anxious, but did just fine with Valerie. If we could, we would have her care for our pets every time we go out of town! You can't go wrong with having Valerie care for your pets or your home -- we could not have asked for a better experience!
