We are looking for responsible individuals, who love cats and the outdoors. Our cat has a routine and he is pretty spot on with it. His dry food bowl and water are kept full 24/7 however he is fed 1/2 can of wet food at dark, to get him in the house. You are free to come and go and and even take weekend trips, he is fine inside for a weekend, with extra bowls and water. There is ABSOLUTELY No smoking of ANY KIND in the house. Prefer low-key people that enjoy the simple things of life and keep things relatively quiet!
The house closets and dressers will be completely empty so that you can get comfortable. I have a small workout room above the garage in the loft, that you are welcome to use as well.

We are having a kitchen renovation and flooring put in this year, while we are away, our daughter will be the Property Manger and will be sure to coordinate the remodel days with you, but you must be okay with about a month of construction going on.

Our cat Charlie Bucket lost his trusty companion Waldo Jefferson last year and is now the only cat in our home. He is indoor/outdoor cat. We allow him In and out during the day to hunt and walk his patrol, however nighttime he stay in doors for his own safety. There are to many night time critters that could eat them!
Our property frequents wild Turkeys, deer, bobcat and bear. So please do not let your food sit outside...all trash goes out to the garage cans by the work shed!
We have an electric fireplace, two large smart TVs and security cameras outside on the property!
Our 2nd home is in Costa Rica and until we Can move there full time, we would like someone to stay in our main house to keep our cat company.

Our home is about 15 minutes off the main highway of route 15. The roads are long and winding and often can be a little hard to navigate if we get snow.
Our home is nestled on a two acre property that borders state game lands.
We do have neighbors however we aren’t right on top of each other.
Our area is quiet and peaceful.
Great for writing, painting, yoga, meditating and we also have a little workout area in the loft in the garage. Stove is electric, two refrigerators, well equipped kitchen, washer, dryer. A generator if the electric goes out and a snow plow machine. We have 6 adult children that can help or answer any questions, should you get in a bind. We love our location. There is so much to see and do in the nearby surrounding areas.

There are wineries sprinkled through out the area and our favorite non gmo, grass fed, grass finished beef and chicken market (steer and chickens on site) is Route 174 Roadside Market never disappoints with their fresh eggs, meat, cheese and veggies 20 minutes ride.
There is an adorable new farm market and creamery 5 minutes down the road. D&S Produce Cut your own flowers, pick up fresh milk, produce, handmade soaps and ice cream.
