We have a rescue Maine Coon, Goobers. She is 6 years old. She is a pretty shy cat. She loves looking out the window and sleeping most of the day. She loves playing with a shoe string and eats only wet foods. She's a fairly low maintenance. As expected from most cats, she will be meowing in the early morning for her meal, but otherwise, she's a great cat.

We have a renovated two bedroom apartment, with a small balcony. We live just south of downtown Houston. We have easy access to a wonderful urban park, with access to walking/biking trails, gardens, zoo and much more. As most places in Houston, it is recommended that travelers have a car. There are some locations of interest within walking distance, but it would be most comfortable via a car.

Eva and her husband were so great to house sit for! There place was perfect to settle in and had access to so many amenities and located close to so much. Goobers, their cat, was such a fun, loving pet, I truly enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her as they were traveling. They were easy to communicate and offered help whenever I needed. Thanks for an amazing stay!
