We have a 13-year old cat who gets lonely and needs affection, as well as the usual cat care (food, water, clean litterbox). He also likes to go outside for a while each day, but, can be left for a couple days if needed. We have 4 houseplants that need weekly watering, and the small garden may have squash and tomatoes to harvest (and eat).

Other attractions: historic downtown (2 miles), Snowbasin Ski Resort (20 miles), and Salt Lake City (40 miles). Yellowstone, Zion, Capital Reef & other national parks are within a few hours’ drive.

We’re located in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, which are popular for hiking and skiing. Enjoy the sunset and a view of the mountains from the front patio, or relish the privacy and hot tub of the spacious back garden., The neighborhood is very walkable and is four blocks up the hill from a major street that has commercial services. We’re near bus stops but a vehicle is recommended. A parent and several dear friends live on the same street and are willing to assist you during your stay.

Have fun exploring the Ogden area including mountain trails, ski resorts, the Great Salt Lake, national forests, cultural and sports events at the local university, Historic 25th Street, and more. Drive or take the commuter train to Salt Lake City (40 miles south) for more attractions, or plan a road trip to world-class national parks (Zion, Yellowstone, etc.) located within a few hours’ drive. In 1.5 hours, you can be in Nevada, Idaho, or Wyoming.

Richa et Hans sont adorables et très accueillants. La communication en amont a été très facile malgré le décalage horaire. Le fonctionnement de la maison était très clair et plutôt simple pour une grande maison. George est calme et très facile à vivre. Après une journée d'hésitation, il s'est vite montré affectueux. Très sage, je n'ai pas eu à m'inquiéter pour lui ou la maison. La maison est très bien entretenue et confortable dans un quartier résidentiel paisible. C'est un havre de paix que j'ai quitté à regrets... Il y a beaucoup de randonnées dans les environs (avec des buffalos à voir sur antelope island) et la spiral jetty est à 1h30 de route. Ce fut un superbe séjour. J'y retournerais sans hésiter !
