Hello! Borana here with my husband, Lindsay. We are the blessed parents of a spectacularly funny and happy little boy named Hugo (5 years old) and a spunky joyful little girl named Lule (3 year old)! We are an international couple, Borana was born in Albania and raised in the USA and I was born in France to a British mother and American serviceman father and moved around the world only to land in the USA as well.

We travel frequently for pleasure. We are both lawyers by trade, don't hold that against us though (haha), and have chosen rather untraditional routes in life as we are both mediators and peacekeepers rather than adversarial people. Borana is an herbalist/gardener/writer/ and loving mother and Lindsay is an avid writer/photographer/philosopher and a critical part of rehabilitation and diversion programs for offenders in the USA and abroad.

Needless to say, we love people and love helping people. Part and parcel with helping others is understanding them, we speak a few languages; for Borana they are Italian, Spanish, bit of French,bit of Mandarin, and Albanian. I, Lindsay, also have taken French and speak fluent Legalese (hehe) as my wife likes to call it when I get SUPER intellectual/philosophical on some topics. We love to cook, eat healthy, walk/hike, bike, garden, and do quite a bit of DIY around our beautiful "cottage." We recently opened up a children's garden in our wee village , a chicken coop, bevy of raised garden beds to test out the permaculture and square foot gardening methods, and monthly activities for families and children, this summer was a huge success!

We are Longterm homeowners and recently sold our home to travel for a few years before the kids get to be of school age. We take great pride in keeping a sanctuary to go to at the end of busy days. Often we cook together sipping wine, trying different cuisines as my wife is prone to being creative in the kitchen, and regularly drinking Turkish coffee with our (chocolate) digestives over a beautiful conversation of love, life, laughter, literature, and much much more.

Borana is a Superhost on Airbnb both as a property manager and an Airbnb "Experiences" host (4.93 Stars and many glowing reviews for her tidiness and hospitality). As a family, we have amazing references on Trustedhousesitters and can supply private sit references if needed. We love animals, have a bearded collie named Ollie who stays with friends while we travel, and have 24/7 access to petcare through a digital vet so all questions can be answered speedily in any event.
