I am a 58 year old working government employee with two grown up children who have had many pets over the years. I lived in Bali, Indonesia for 22 years and worked in the travel industry. I am very happy to stay in one spot and take care of your animals because I work and live a busy life in Australia. I travel with my partner, a 60 year old retired freight train driver who loves animals also and is happy to garden, water plants and mow lawns. He also is very fit and runs, walks and bike rides here in Australia (because he has the time) so he is very happy to walk active dogs. We both are, but I would like more of a rest and stay at home with a book and companion pet. I have previously enjoyed 5 house swaps (with my ex-husband) in Europe. One in Paris and one in Ede, The Netherlands and 3 house sits in Australia. I can not swap my house anymore because my grown up kids still live at home (and we want to get away from them and not take them with us). We then looked into pet sitting and have had fabulous experiences in Singapore for two weeks with two cats and recently in Goa India with 2 dogs and 5 chickens. During the long Covid travel bans in Australia we enjoyed several sits in Sydney, the Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour and Forster with dogs, cats, chickens and rabbits. We have excellent five star reviews on a competitor website however are now pursuing pet sits via Nomador as the locations are more appealing and a lifestyle that we are pursuing.
