Accounts Payable Specialist
We are a small family of three, including a teenage daughter who we homeschool. We are seeking to expand her travel horizons and cultural experiences.
We are native residents of New York but also have a winter getaway residence in South Carolina. So depending on the month, it is easy for us to fly out of either airport.
My husband is a book designer and works remotely; essentially anywhere with WiFi. My daughter begins her first high school year in September 2020, and we are taking those four years to give her a broader view of the world and prepare her for adult life through real-world experiences that will help her make better choices and set realistic goals for her future. WiFi is also needed, as her classes are online.
I am in the accounting field and work for a temp agency called Robert Half, which has offices around the world. My specialty is accounts payable/receivables, inventory, etc.
We live a simple life and do not need to be entertained, so off-the-grid residences, or those with no WiFi are still ideal, as there is often a library or other hotspot facility in the area. We can be social to an extent, and are good neighbors in our community. When not traveling, we volunteer as a family at our city and town libraries in both states, along with volunteering at non-profit groups such as The LOT Project.
We hope that we will meet new people and forge lasting relationships with them or families we meet during our travels, particularly the families that have trusted us to stay in their home and take care of their well loved animals and plants.
