Hello! We are Paris and Nick, a couple in their mid-30s from New Zealand, who are spending a year overseas on an adventure. Nick works remotely for a environmental conservation company in New Zealand, and I'm a project manager for a charity in the Netherlands. We have been living in Amsterdam since September 2022, and for the summer of 2023, we are looking for new places to call home and experience more of Europe.
Since arriving in Amsterdam we have been living in (and taking care of) people's homes. We have been trusted with 3 homes in the last 6 months, and have really enjoyed the experience of meeting new people, getting to know new neighbourhoods, and looking after a home. While we haven't yet house-sitted through this website, we are very familiar with the concept. We can provide references too.
Nick & I are animal-lovers, while we don't have any of our own, we look forward to having the company of animals during our house sitting stints. We both grew up in the countryside, and love being outdoors, cooking nice (vegetarian food) and exploring new parts of the world. Look forward to hearing from you!
