Als Paar/Duo
We are a retired and open minded couple (60+) from Belgium who will certainly love to look after your pet(s) and will enjoy to socialize with the local community.
We used to live in the countryside where we had a cat for more than 12 years. It has always been our intention to move to a city when being retired. We waited until our cat died and then moved to Mechelen. Keeping a cat here is not recommended and moreover would not be allowed in our building. We also took care of our neighbour's dog when they went on vacation. Consequently, we have a lot of experience in looking after pets.
In 2016 we had pet sitting opportunities in Friesland and Rijen (for both the Netherlands sits, we have references via www.voor-elkaar.net) and in Munich and Scotland (references via www.trustedhousesitters.com).
For 2017, we had 2 in France, in the Ile-de-France region, during the 10 first days of July (also via www.trustedhousesitters.com) and in October in Erstein (Alsace).
For 2018 we finished a 2 week cat sit in Milano (Italy) in April and a 20 day cat sit in Devon (E). 2 other cat sits in the Netherlands were also already arranged for August and September 2018 (also via www.voor-elkaar.net).
In 2019, due to other occupations we had only one cat sitting assignment in July-August for 3 weeks in the Provence region (next to Arles) via www.nomador.com.
July 2020 brought us for 2 weeks in the Belgian Gaume region for taking care of a lovely cat.
I think we may say that we are reliable, trustworthy, clean and tidy people and animal lovers! We are up to date with technology so would be happy to Skype or FaceTime so that you can check in anytime to see your pets are happy and safe! :)...
Our mother tongue is Dutch but we also speak French, English and German. We are non-smokers!
We will treat your pets and house as if it were ours.

Wonderful house sitters, Herwin and Jasmine! They were very easy to get along with upon arrival and looked well after our two cats, the plants and the house. Would highly recommend, trustworthy and friendly, good communication during the housesit. Thank you and have fun traveling further!

Pour notre première expérience nous sommes enchantés . Jasmine et Herwin ont été des home-sitter parfait. Très sympathique et ouvert. ils se sont parfaitement occupé de la maison, des chats et du jardin, ont donné des nouvelles régulièrement avec photos des minous. Nous avons retrouvé notre maison impeccable et nos deux chats en pleine forme. De plus Jasmine nous avait préparé de délicieuses Lasagnes pour notre retour. Grand merci à eux.
