Bonjour, je parle français. Je suis né en Suisse francophone.
HI I'M PETER,
A FULL-TIME AND HIGHLY EXPERIENCED INTERNATIONAL HOUSE-SITTER AND CARER OF PETS LISTED ON DIFFERENT REPUTABLE PET SITTER SERVICES.
I'm a single, non-smoker, retired, fully Covid-19 vaccinated Swiss volunteer of mega-events as the Olympic Games and the Football World Cups.
I'm perfectly healthy and I like travelling and practicing regular physical conditioning activities as Yoga and Pilates. I participated at several Mini-Marathons in Lisbon and made a pilgrimage by foot to Santiago de Compostela on the Portuguese trail. Anciently in Switzerland I was a voluntary firefighter and I also served in the local civil defense.
More recently I volunteered in a religious shelter having accomodations and giving integration support for 120 refugees.
After extensive travelling throughout my professional life as an expat Industrial Engineer and Private Banker (anciently I was a fiscally registered resident in Switzerland, Italy, France, Monaco, Germany, USA and Brasil, and presently residing in Portugal since 2017), I now prefer to experience new environments like a local and partake in slow travel - soaking in neighborhood life for weeks at a time in the company of your well-loved pets.
I love all animals as I love the way a cat purrs appreciatively (I know how to earn the trust and love of our feline friends and it's all the more rewarding when I finally get it) or the face of a dog that is pleased to see you.
Pets are my favourite part of sitting besides being able to immerse myself in local life.
Since two years I have absolved 20+ pet&house-sitting missions with the platform Trusted House Sitters.

I consider house sitting to be a great privilege as I am trusted your precious home and beloved pets about 210 days each year and you can be sure I would never take this for granted.

Peter's sitting was nor a surprise since all comments about him reflect the excellence of his comitment to house sitting. Our dogs related to him from thevery first moment and everything went smoothly even with the ocasional equipment failure that he managed creatively to mend. He kept us wellinformed almost dayly. Apart from evrything else, he is a "great guy" and a very peasurable company. Nothing new then. Peter is GREAT. THanks for your very pleasant stay.

Peter came over to my place to house sit my apartment and the two queenies for about two and a half weeks, even as the Corona pandemic already cast its shadows ahead. As the restrictions became more strict he still stayed, knowing that eventually he couldn't return to his place and maybe had to look for a different place to stay in case of my return. I would have totally understood if he had canceled his sit, but he showed awesome flexibility and stayed until I could return from abroad (and now he is still stuck here in Berlin but enjoying it). I really admire his flexibility, calmness and rationality and can totally recommend Peter as a sitter. The cats really enjoyed being with him, which I could tell from the photos and regular information he sent me. Everything was well taken care of and the apartment was partly even nicer than before with some great little decorations and presents from Lisboa (thank you so much again!) Peter knows very well how to treat animals and he himself is great company and very inspiring and humble in his way of living!

Peter est un être d'une gentillesse et d'une générosité exceptionnelle. Il a gardé pendant 15 jours nos trois galgos et notre chat. Deux promenades quotidiennes, d'une sensibilité sans égale. Nos galgos l'ont tout de suite accepté. De comportement peureux suite à leurs antécédents...il a su très vite les rassurer et a pris notre place auprès deux de façon magistrale.. Incroyable !! Une réelle amitié entre nous s'est crée. De belles surprises à notre retour vu sa grande générosité.nous vous le recommandons sans hésitation.

It was a privilege having Peter in our home and looking after our cat. He kept us informed while we were away - not too much and not too little (a perfect balance). Before and during communication was excellent. On return our home was immaculate and over the following days, it warmed my heart in finding little surprises tucked away in unexpected places. Peter was very respectful and extremely diligent. He puts the utmost care and with noble intention in what he does. 3 badges are not enough! I highly recommend Peter and will definitely invite him back. I just hope he will be available! Thank you, Peter.
