Mais par où commencer tant mon séjour à Pringy a été fantastique ? D’abord le lieu est idyllique, entouré de montagnes, proche de la nature verdoyante. La maison, le couvert, le jacuzzi, la roulotte proche de la forêt, etc etc tout pour faire un parfait coin de paradis ! Ensuite le coin poulailler avec ses “2 pattes” ha ha j’ai appris assez vite à ne pas outre user du mot “poule” car la plus belle de toutes et tous : Hoppy, la superbe et intelligente border collie part au quart de tour protéger son “troupeau” de poules comme si c’était ses propres bébés, à leur évocation !! Les 3 chats ont été également très ronron, quémandant à heures régulières quelques caresses ;) (accompagnées de nouvelles croquettes si possible, miaou miaou) Un énorme merci à Valentine et Jean-Marc (et Susi) pour votre gentillesse, générosité et confiance ! Je recommande évidemment à 100%%

What a pleasure to have had the opportunity to sit for Valentine and Jean-Marc in beautiful Gruyeres, Switzerland! From our first chats before even leaving the US, I knew we would be fast friends. They are a wonderful couple who love their pets very much. Upon our arrival, Jean-Marc picked us up at the train station and we learned much about the location and animals. We shared dinner and stories together and met Susi, Jean-Marc's mom. Susi was so sweet and helpful if we had any questions. The home and location are both just perfect for the time we were there. My 20 y/o son traveled with me and he was a big help keeping Hoppy, their sweet dog, well exercised. She loved all the mountain hikes available in the area and LOVES retrieving sticks from the small stream near the house. Hercules, the cat, is a cuddler and loved sleeping with myself or Noah when it suited him. Basilic, the independent one, came for breakfast each morning before heading back out for his mouse hunting. Lastly, there were the chickens who were very well trained and easy to care for. All the ladies loved when I would come and spend a little time or bring grass for them. Hoppy also enjoyed being sure they were all ok and she did her chicken counting each night. It was a fun to watch! Thank you, Valentine and Jean-Marc, for inviting us to your home and trusting us with your very loved animals. It was a great pleasure meeting you both and we hope to have the chance to return in the future.
