Me and Anni, my travel companion, are best friends and flat mates of many years standing. We both graduated in law this spring at the University of Cologne, Germany - now we want to recover a little from the stresses and strains of law school, want to discover new landscapes and want to live a simpler life for a few months caring for pets, gardening, going for walks and hikes and reading.

We are calm, nonsmoking active and independent women, who truly enjoy the presence of animals and nature. I have had a lovely and sometimes tumultuous Tibet Terrier - Parson Jack Russel Mix since the age of 10, who now in his old days gets a little more easy to handle but is nevertheless still a challenge. The dog you see on my profile picture is lovely Peggie, who i dog-sitted for a family for almost 2 years. Anni on the other hand grew up on a farm surrounded by animals such as pigs, chicken and cats, so surely we both have a history of being around and caring for our beloved companions! We will prioritize the pet`s needs and are absolutely sure we can provide you peace of mind while you are absent by sending you regular updates and pictures via E-Mail or WhatsApp.

Why do we want to do travel by housesitting? During studying abroad in Paris and Sevilla we have learned that the best way to really learn about a country and culture is to live in it. We want to travel slower and more mindful and do our best to live like a local. We would love to have the time and peace in a calm realm to read, do yoga, maybe hike and paint or enjoy sweet idleness.

As it would be our very first time doing housesitting, we would be absolutely thrilled to be given the chance and trust to care for your home, pets and plants. We will treat it with as much care and respect as if it was our own. Please do not hesitate to ask any kind of question or to ask for more information and validation.
