My husband and I are from a diverse international background. We speak French, English and Polish. We are both teachers in higher education in Lyon, but have decided to live in the country with our two children (Daniel, 8 and Olivia, 6), two cats (Nina and Simone), our dog (Ostrale, 3 year-old golden retriever) and three chickens (Winston, Franklin and Joseph).
We are looking to travel and also for some people we can trust to keep all of our animals happy while we're away ! We have already exchanged houses quite a few times using other platforms, and have always enjoyed the experience !
We are organised and tidy, and true animal lovers. Our children are very gentle and used to taking care of pets.

We've been very lucky to get to know this wonderful family. We felt as if we were visiting old friends. Their animals are just adorable; Nina prefers her independence and we've been lucky to see her from a short distance, and the trio of Ostrale, the dog, Simone, the cat, and Joseph, the chicken, have given us affection and company and we have enjoyed giving them back. It's amazing how well the three of them get on, and how good-natured and sweet they are. We have also enjoyed the charming and comfortable house and the splendid garden, which is nature itself. We are thankful for their trust and for this great experience. We will miss all of them.

Il ya des rencontres où l'on a envie qu'elles durent un peu plus longtemps, c'est le cas avec la famille de Sophie ! Ils sont tous très attachants et leur maison est tellement agréable que même sans soleil on s'y sent bien. Sans parler des animaux qui font comme si ils vous avaient toujours connu, des amours ! Bref un séjour qui restera dans mon cœur ! Et surtout, visiter le parc qui est magique presque magique !

Sophie and Yan made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful and relaxing time in their home. The animals are lovely souls. They love to be with each other and are happy to be petted. They are all very peaceful and cautious. We spent a lot of time together in the beautiful garden. It is very quiet and sometimes you can hear the river rushing. We also enjoyed being in the house. It is very spacious and tastefully furnished. All in all, we couldn't have had a nicer time. Thank you, Sophie and Yan!
