Hello!
I work downtown for a local non-profit, EnviroCentre, on a climate change program.
I live in Ottawa, on a farm called Beetbox, with my partner.
Why house-sitting?
Well, I get tired of commuting, I miss living in a walkable neighborhood, and my partner is allergic to pets. Plus, I used to travel a lot and now, I like to travel locally. Hanging out with a new pet friend in a new neighborhood feels like a mini-vacation to me.
I've done lots of pet-sitting and house-sitting for my family and friends of friends. I grew up with dogs and cats and now I even have chickens!
I am a pretty practical person who enjoys reading and walking, swimming, cross country skiing and biking. Im very involved in the local environmental community and I have a good reputation as a responsible, smart, and passionate community builder.
I love cats! Dogs are cool too- I like walking/running so thats always fun!
