I am a thirty-something woman who loves to travel, see new places and meet new people. However I can also enjoy the calm and serenity of being by myself.
In september 2021 I started a little adventure by quiting my 9 year old job as an engineer and travel around. This has led me to explore the coasts of Central- and South America and giving me the opportunity of improving my surfing skills (but not as much as I hoped).
For ending that amazing year, I was looking to spend some quiet time back in Europe, before returning home to Belgium and found two wonderfull housesits.
Being back to work in Belgium, I wanted to return this favor and found housesitters for my own apartment and two cats.
Whenever I have time off from work, I would like to explore the world again through housesittting.
I am a very responsible person, who knows how to keep a house clean. I am myself a homeowner and servant to two cats at home.
When I was young, I grew up with a wonderfull dog, so they are my friend too.

Communication with Gaelle was super easy and smooth. She took really good care of my two cats and I returned home to find my place exactly as I let it. I would warmly recommend Gaelle for any persisting you might need.

We had a great time in Belgium, caring for Gaelle's little kitties and her home while she was away. When we had a question, she was always quick to respond. The cats were no problem at all and got used to us fairly quickly. Odette remained a little skittish but Louis loved having his belly rubbed, and would come to us for some attention and petting. The apartment was nice and cozy. Hopefully we left it in a proper condition when we left. We met Gaelle for dinner on the last day we were there, and talked about her travels, her home, the cats, and our adventures traveling around Belgium. We were able to do a couple overnights in Brugges and Antwerp by leaving out extra food and water for the kitties. Overall, it was a great experience for a first house sit and we are looking forward to another one. Thank you for having confidence in us, Gaelle. All the best!
