Doris

Doris and Günther are very kind, thoughtful and generous house-sitting hosts. Way before the house-sit started they kept in touch, sending us small teasers of their home and surroundings. A cab was sent to fetch us from the airport saving the extra worry about how to get from Bangkok to Pattaya. Upon arrival they invited us to savour the Thai cuisine and showed us around the following days before their departure. We also were treated to Günther’s homemade breads (and even were shown how to make them!). The house is located in a quiet side street, is spacious and clean, offering fans and even air conditioners if needed. Simba the cat is shy at first, but very soon warmed up to our presence, letting us know when she would like to play or be fed. We enjoyed the swimming pool in the same street, their treadmill, the good value massage parlours as well as the vast choice of amazing Thai food in restaurants and the nearby night market. You would be lucky if you could house-sit for the couple and we thank them once again for our wonderful time in Thailand.
