Frederick et Cristina sont des hôtes souriants et très sympathiques. Tout a été fait pour que nous nous sentions bien chez eux. Leur cottage est accueillant, très agréable, un havre de paix. Profiter du calme au long du jour, cela n'a pas de prix. Shila est un amour, parfaitement éduquée. Toujours prête pour une balade, c'est une chienne d'une douceur incroyable très caline et très intelligente . Elle va nous manquer ! Molly est très indépendante. Souvent à l'extérieur, elle nous rejoignait pour obtenir ses doses de gratouilles ou pour dormir au bout du lit. S’occuper de ces deux miss a été un plaisir. Tous nos remerciements vont à Frederick et Cristina de nous avoir donné la chance de vivre cela. J’espère qu’il nous sera donné d’autres occasions de nous revoir, où que ce soit ! ...

I had a really enjoyable stay at Frederick and Christina‘s beautiful cottage in the Norwegian countryside. It is a small but very cozy (with fireplace!) and overall smart place. Most electric appliances can be controlled via a tablet in the living room and I was able to charge my electric rental car at the house! This was amazing :-). There are many nice spots in the garden and the terrace where one can sit down and enjoy a coffee and good book. Shila and Molly are adorable and easy to take care of. They don’t have any special needs. Shila loves cuddles and being stroked and is very energetic and adventurous when walking her outside. Molly likes her treats and sleeps in the bedroom when one lets her. The surrounding nature is very peaceful, mostly forests & lakes and wooden houses. Berries and mushrooms grow here in masses! I loved it there and would total recommend it. Also thanks to Frederick and Christina for the nice farewell dinner and breakfast.

Frederick et sa compagne ont été des hôtes parfaits. Ils ont préparé le cottage pour que l'on se sente absolument chez nous. Fin cuisinier, il met à disposition un bel equipement. Un tour du propriétaire est nécessaire pour comprendre comment vivre ici, dans un environnement magique, authentique pour l'architecture et en pleine nature en bordure de forêt. Sanitaires dans une annexe, confort intérieur high tech (gestion du température, musique). Voiture obligatoire. La chienne est une fête au quotidien, qui attend ses caresses, qui adore sortir et obéissante. La chatte, très douce aussi, est l'indépendance incarnée, qui choisit ses lits au fil de la journée. Tout nous manque déjà! Everything was meant by the couple that we would felt home in the cottage. You can cook, be surrounded by music and have the perfect temperature inside. The architecture of the cottage is authentic and clean, modern, and the landscape is fabulous, by the forest. You have to be introduced to the place, ie sanitary in another house and a car is a necessity because it is not by a city. The dog and the cat are treasures. Celebrating and in need for cuddles for the dog but obedient, and perfectly independant but still charming and fun for the cat. We miss it all.
